Zhejiang Released the Data of Two Nutrition Surveys

Recently, Zhejiang Center for Disease Control and Prevention released two datasets: “2016-2017 Nutrition Monitoring Results for Lactating Mothers and Children in Zhejiang Province” and “2019 Malnutrition Risk Survey Data for the Elderly in Zhejiang Province”. The former survey reveals that the rate of vitamin A deficiency among children and adolescents aged 6-17 years in Zhejiang Province reached 29.2%, and the rate of vitamin D deficiency reached 36.8%. The latter survey demonstrates that only 63.9% of older adults had good nutritional status, 31.1% were at risk for malnutrition, and 5.0% were malnourished. (Source: shuzhengkangxun)
