Haidilao, a leading restaurant chain, launched its own brand of juice soda, positioned as a “hot pot drink”, with the main focus on “helping digestion, relieving greasiness and spicy”. The soda comes in three flavors of hawthorn, peach, and apricot, and is priced at RMB 8 yuan (USD $1.24) per bottle. It’s been sold in Haidilao offline restaurants and Tmall official flagship stores across the country.
In addition, Haidilao also launched a lactic acid bacteria drink in collaboration with Mengniu. Haidilao marketed the drink by giving a free 300mL bottle with the purchase of Haidilao’s sea buckthorn pot base during the Chinese National Day. (Source: Foodaily)
