The State Administration for Market Regulation announced its 2021 typical cases that Yikangyuan Health Technology Co., Ltd. used product names, graphics, text, color difference, font, and font size to repeatedly mislead consumers. Therefore, Yikangyuan was fined more than RMB 14 million yuan (USD $2.17 million) for claiming solid drink “Terisun” as special medical milk powder. Mr. Deng, the first responsible person of the enterprise, was ordered to immediately correct the violations and was fined RMB 2.8 million yuan (USD $440,000) in administrative penalties.
