The List of Strains Applicable for food will be Updated Soon

On October 28, the China National Center for Food Safety Risk Assessment announced that, in order to further standardize the “list of strains that can be used for food” (released in 2010, 21 strains) and “list of strains that can be used for infant food” (Released in 2011, 6 strains) according to the “Food Safety Law”, the two lists have been organized and updated, and will be reviewed through the new food ingredients review meeting.
