Status of China National Health

Recently, the iResearch Consulting Group released the “White Paper on New Trends in Scientific Nutrition in China”, which is a comprehensive analysis of the current national nutrition health awareness and consumption behavior. The White Paper points out that the prevalence of wasting among children under 5 years old in China is 1.9% and the prevalence of obesity is 8.3%, both of which are below the average level in East Asia. With widespread sub-health conditions, the statistics for adult nutritional health are even more alarming. The bias of nutrition awareness among domestic consumers results from the lack of effective nutrition self-examination tools and channels. (Source: qq.com)
