New Food Ingredients are Coming

The Notice No. 2 of 2022 issued by the National Health Commission shows that, according to the “Food Safety Law of the People’s Republic of China”, the review body organized experts to review and pass the safety assessment materials for three new food ingredients, Chlamydomonasreinhardtii, Bifidobacterium longum subspecies BB536, and sugarcane polyphenols, 18 new varieties of food additives such as luteolin and inositol, and 15 new varieties of food-related products such as zirconium phosphate.
