Recently, JingDong Health announced that it entered into a sale and purchase agreement with JingDong for up to RMB 2.38 billion yuan (USD $355 million). The acquisition is related to pet health product categories, mainly focusing on sales, distribution, and other e-commerce businesses of pet prescription drugs, prescription food, pet nutrition supplements, pet deworming, pet milk powder, and pet oral, ear, and eye cleaning.
Through this agreement, Jing Dong Health believes that it can further expand its product offerings and, at the same time, form a more comprehensive ecosystem to provide a one-stop solution.
