A team of Chinese scientists has successfully developed the world’s first rice germplasm capable of synthesizing coenzyme Q10 (CoQ10). On February 14, a research team led by Academician Chen Xiaoya and Professor Gao Caixia from the Chinese Academy of Sciences published their findings in the top-tier international journal Cell.
