As an essential nutrient, dietary fiber is expected to reach a total output value of RMB 5.715 billion yuan (USD $800 million) in China by 2025, driven by the current health consciousness and lifestyle changes. Research indicates that a low-fiber diet can lead to constipation, irritable bowel syndrome, and cardiovascular diseases, and may cause cognitive impairment and synaptic loss mediated by hippocampal microglia and metabolites through the intestinal microbiota. With the concept of “fiber+” becoming a consumer essential, TCI-BIO recently introduced a packet of instant coffee containing 3200mg of dietary fiber. The coffee powder is combined with premium water-soluble wheat fiber, providing a high-fiber supplement in a single packet. This product aims to improve gastrointestinal conditions and enhance the adjustment of the digestive system’s bacterial flora state. (Source: Foodaily)
