According to the “2024-2029 China Health Food Industry Survey and Development Prospect Analysis Report” published by the China Business Industry Research Institute, China’s health food sales reached 68 billion yuan (approximately 9.52 billion USD) in 2022, marking a year-on-year growth of 8.45%. In 2023, sales are estimated to be around 72 billion yuan (approximately 10.08 billion USD), with a year-on-year growth of 5.88%. It is predicted that sales will further increase to 77.8 billion yuan (approximately 10.89 billion USD) in 2024, representing an expected year-on-year growth of 8.05%.
