SAMR Publicly Solicits Suggestions for Health Functions to Be Included in the Permitted Claims List for Health Foods

On August 6, the State Administration for Market Regulation (SAMR) issued an announcement on “Public Solicitation of Suggestions for Health Functions to Be Included in the Permitted Claims List for Health Foods.” The announcement calls on the public to submit suggestions for health functions that could be included in the list, aiming to leverage the advantages of social research resources and encourage the participation of individuals, enterprises, research institutions, and social organizations in the evaluation and development of new health food functions, thereby promoting the supply of high-quality products.
