On August 9, Beingmate (002570) announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Beingmate (Hangzhou) Food Research Institute Co., Ltd., plans to co-invest with Xianduan Bio and Weifu Bio to establish Bemeide (Hangzhou) Life Science and Technology Co., Ltd. This new company aims to collaborate with leading synthetic biology experts in China to develop key nutrients tailored to the needs of the country’s nutrition and food industry.
Xianduan Bio possesses world-class IOS gene recombination technology, with over a dozen invention patents, and has developed Fumin Peptide, a broad-spectrum anti-infection biological antibacterial material with fully independent intellectual property rights. Weifu Bio’s actual controller is a shareholder in the Guangxi Jixiang Biomedical Research Center, which has developed high-activity NK cells capable of eliminating aging and mutated cells in the human body, effectively resisting viral infections, preventing tumors, and slowing down aging.
