National Health Commission Responds: Suggestions on Promoting the Development of “Functional Label Foods”

On September 4, the National Health Commission publicly responded to the suggestions regarding “Promoting the Development of ‘Functional Label Foods’ to Accelerate the New Quality Productivity in the Health Industry.” The commission stated, “We are considering starting with substances already approved in the food-medicine substances list and exploring the use of digital food labels to reflect ‘health labels.’ Currently, we are actively coordinating with relevant parties to advance pilot projects.” Source: National Health Commission
