New Validation Logic for Coenzyme Q10 and Other Ingredients in Cross-Border Trade

In September, new developments emerged in cross-border customs for health supplements. NMN has been banned from entering bonded warehouses for cross-border e-commerce. New validation logic has been introduced for ingredients such as Coenzyme Q10 and polyethylene glycol, requiring submission of edible evidence or free sale certificates for customs declarations. Additionally, the scrutiny of red yeast rice has been intensified, and the animal origin of gelatin must specify whether it comes from restricted epidemic areas. Certain whey protein powders and infant formulas from Japan are prohibited, and fish oil and krill oil now require health certificates. (Source: Nutrition News)
