2′-FL Approved Again as a Food Nutritional Supplement

On February 10, the National Health Commission published an announcement regarding the approval of 20 new food ingredients, including the safety evaluation of 2′-fucosyllactose (2′-FL) as a new food nutritional supplement. Two versions of 2′-FL were approved for use. The production strain information for this new food nutritional supplement variety is shown in the table below. (Source: National Health Commission)
