Background
According to the requirements in the Food Safety Law of China, the new food raw materials and additives used for food production should pass the safety assessment of the National Health Commission (NHC). In recent years, with the support of favorable policies, enterprises have made many innovations, which promote the emergence of various new raw materials seeking compliance with relevant regulations.
With the goal of helping enterprises to have an overview of the current food industry, this webinar will analyze the application approval of new food raw material and additives in China from 2018 to 2022, and share the latest information of research and compliance progress of those hot food raw materials such as HMOs, NMN, and postbiotics.

Graduating from Zhejiang Gongshang University with a degree in Food Science and Engineering, Ms. Cathy Yu has achieved her Diplomat of certified toxicologist of CST. She serves as a food regulatory consultant in CIRS Group for more than 10 years and has extensive experience in leading the Food Business Division to assist global well-known companies with their compliance process. She has been invited to Germany, France, the United States, South Korea, and many other regions to give training to foreign food-related companies at international regulatory conferences.
Ms. Jessie Shen, Senior Food Regulatory Consultant from CIRS Group
Ms. Jessie Shen graduated from the University of Manchester with a master’s degree in Advanced Chemical Engineering. She is familiar with the food-related regulation system of major countries and regions in the world with more than 7 years of food regulatory service experience and provides Chinese food regulatory compliance services for overseas enterprises with a focus on health food, FSMP, food raw materials, and food-related products.
Mr. Hui Xu, Senior Food Regulatory Consultant from CIRS Group
Mr. Hui Xu has a deep understanding of food-related regulations with broad experience in dealing with regulatory matters in the fields of health food registration/filling, FSMP, new food raw materials, and new food additives.
