On September 4, the National Health Commission responded to the suggestions on “Enhancing the Scientific Management of Food Microbial Strains to Support High-Quality Development in the Food Industry.” The response is as follows:
- On Scientifically Defining Microbial Strains Used in the Production and Processing of Traditional Fermented Foods
- On Establishing a Physical Strain Repository and Gene Database for Food Microbial Strains
- On Strengthening Research Reserves in New Technologies and Enhancing Their Application in the Safety Management of Food Microbial Strains
