National Health Commission Responds: Suggestions on Enhancing the Scientific Management of Food Microbial Strains

On September 4, the National Health Commission responded to the suggestions on “Enhancing the Scientific Management of Food Microbial Strains to Support High-Quality Development in the Food Industry.” The response is as follows:

  • On Scientifically Defining Microbial Strains Used in the Production and Processing of Traditional Fermented Foods
  • On Establishing a Physical Strain Repository and Gene Database for Food Microbial Strains
  • On Strengthening Research Reserves in New Technologies and Enhancing Their Application in the Safety Management of Food Microbial Strains
