Counterfeit Issues in the Health Supplement Market Persist

On October 10, Consumer Report highlighted the emergence of a large number of “Nutrilite (Hong Kong)” products on live-streaming platforms, with prices ranging from tens to hundreds of yuan. Upon investigation, it was found that these products share a common feature — they are produced or (co-)supervised by companies with the Nutrilite name, but neither the brand name nor the manufacturer is actually Nutrilite. In fact, beyond misleading advertising, counterfeit issues in the health supplement market have long persisted. Many sellers target the market popularity of well-known brands and resort to counterfeit products to deceive consumers for profit. (Source: SinaFinance)
