On October 15, the environmental assessment report for Nestlé Health Science (China) Co., Ltd.’s lily project for health food research and production is currently under public review. This document reveals for the first time that the company plans to establish localized production lines for protein powder and probiotics in China. The document shows that Nestlé Health Science China intends to invest CNY 148 million to set up production lines in two phases within its idle cosmetics manufacturing workshop. After the completion of the first phase, it will have an annual production capacity of 36.5 million protein powder bars and 36.5 million probiotics.
