On October 18, Shan’en Kang’s proprietary AKK PROBIO strain (scientific name: Akkermansia muciniphila, abbreviated as AKK) successfully passed the Generally Recognized as Safe (GRAS) scientific evaluation by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA). This marks the official inclusion of AKK PROBIO in the globally recognized safety list.
