On April 25, the State Council released its Approval on the Establishment of Comprehensive Pilot Zones for Cross-Border E-Commerce in Hainan Island and 15 Other Cities (Regions). The State Council agreed to establish Comprehensive Pilot Zones for Cross-Border E-Commerce in Hainan Island and the following 15 cities (regions): Qinhuangdao, Baoding, Erenhot, Dandong, Chuzhou, Sanming, Kaifeng, Xinxiang, Ezhou, Shaoyang, Wuzhou, Beihai, Fangchenggang, Guang’an, and Bortala Mongol Autonomous Prefecture.
Each zone will be named “China (City or Region Name) Comprehensive Pilot Zone for Cross-Border E-Commerce,” and the respective provincial governments are responsible for issuing detailed implementation plans. Simultaneously, the previous pilot zones in Haikou, Sanya, and Alashankou have been revoked. (Source: www.gov.cn)
