On November 29, 2023, Nestlé launched the N3 Milk series in Beijing, which features Nestlé’s breakthrough technology “Nestlé Diamond Moderate Hydrolysis”, developed over five years at the Nestlé Institute of Health Sciences of Nestlé Scientific Research in Lausanne, Switzerland. This technology cuts and reorganizes the lactose to produce native milk oligosaccharides – Galacto-Oligosaccharides (GOS), while reducing carbohydrates and energy content in milk.
Benefiting from the Nestlé Diamond Moderate Hydrolysis technology, the Nestlé N3 Milk series, compared to regular milk, can reduce over 80% of lactose, 74% of carbohydrates, and 18% of energy, making the milk softer and lighter. This innovation significantly improves adverse reactions such as bloating and diarrhea after milk consumption, especially in individuals with lactose malabsorption and gastrointestinal sensitivity, while reducing the body’s absorption burden.
