Recently, Amway’s global CEO, Milind Pant, stated that Amway has invested in China for nearly 30 years, and for 21 consecutive years, China has been Amway’s largest and fastest-growing market globally. In the past three years, Amway China has achieved an average annual growth of 7%, demonstrating the vitality and vigor of China’s health industry.
Amway has announced ambitious investment plans to invest 600 million yuan (US$84.5 million) in its Guangzhou production base over the next five years to improve quality and efficiency as it pursues progressive business visions.
Opened in 1995, the Guangzhou site is the company’s largest production base outside of the United States.
In 2024, Amway will continue to increase investment in China:Invest and build the first self-owned organic farm in China, continue to carry out large-scale aerospace breeding of Chinese herbal medicine, innovate more and better health foods based on Chinese herbal medicine, promote the modernization and internationalization of Chinese herbal medicine, and provide Chinese solutions and Chinese wisdom to global consumers.
