According to the report, the China consumption expectation index rebounded in 2022, in which the consumption ability and consumption environment sub-indicators improved significantly compared with the previous two years. In 2023, it is expected that residents’ income will grow steadily, and the consumption environment will continue to be optimized.
In the aspect of basic living goods, food consumption had a resilient growth. Pre-prepared dishes and convenient fast-food demand is growing rapidly that sugar-free, low-sugar, and fat-reduced food and beverages became the new trend. Moreover, children’s supplementary food and nutrition products showed accelerated expansions. In the aspect of health care, domestic high-quality products and healthcare digital services will become the new hits.
