Asahi Group Acquires Teijin Meguro Research Laboratory

Asahi Group has announced the acquisition of Teijin Meguro Research Laboratory (Osaka), a subsidiary of Teijin Ltd. specializing in functional food ingredients. The acquisition is aimed at advancing in-house lactic acid bacteria cultivation technologies and expanding future production capacity. A share transfer agreement has been signed between Asahi, Teijin, and the Meguro Laboratory. (Source: Foodaily)
