  • ADM released a report about future dietary supplement consumers, pointing out that 64% global consumers believe that mindful enjoyment can be part of a healthy diet, and companies are adding additional benefits to the products by using functional ingredients such as prebiotics, probiotics, postbiotics, plants and plant extracts, etc.
  • Yili’s first tea drink-ChaYuChaXun was launched, in which ADM probiotics were added.
  • IFF (NYSE: IFF) announced that it had entered into an agreement to acquire Health Wright Products, LLC (HWP), a leader in formulation and capsule manufacturing for the dietary supplement industry.
  • Chr. Hansen has published the results of a global survey conducted in 16 countries around the world to assess consumer awareness of probiotics and potential benefits. 75% of those surveyed said they were very or somewhat aware of probiotics. 48% of respondents consume probiotics every day or almost every day through supplements or other foods.
  • In 2021, China social media Little Red Book had more than 240,000 related notes on “probiotics”, and the popularity was nearly 4 times that of the top star “Dilireba”. Probiotics related to babies, pets and women products received more attention.
  • Yili successfully offered to acquire Ausnutria Dairy. As of March 3, the shares of Ausnutria Dairy held by the bidder accounted for 52.7% of the total shares.
