Dipro and over 50 top-tier hospitals in China have jointly established a preliminary native probiotic strain library for the Chinese population. The plan is to establish a physical strain library of high-quality native probiotic strains and a digitized microbial community model library in China over a period of 30 years. Currently, they have stored over 20,000 strains of native probiotics in the country. It is reported that the Di-Medical Research Center (Di-MRC) at Shanghai Children’s Hospital has been officially launched. Dipro Medical Research Foundation has donated RMB 10 million yuan (USD $1.39 million) in research funding, which will be used for the development of clinical research on microbial-ecology health.
