On October 7th, the National Health Commission issued an announcement, stating that two types of human milk oligosaccharides (HMO), including 2’-fucosyllactose, had been approved as new varieties of food additives in China. On the same day, Junlebao Dairy Group introduced the “All-round Care” formula milk powder containing HMO components. Clinical intervention experiment results indicate that the HMO-2’-fucosyllactose used in “All-round Care” has a positive impact on the intestinal microbiota of children, nurturing the intestinal microecology and enhancing self-regulation. This new product is the result of collaboration between Junlebao and DSM, combining long-term in-depth research and development with authoritative research institutions both domestically and internationally. This is the first domestic HMO formula milk powder, a globally-leading product with Chinese characteristics, marking Junlebao’s successful entry into a market gap in the domestic formula milk category.
