As of December 31, the website of the State Administration for Market Regulation showed that there were 341 domestically registered health food products with 2022 batch numbers, attributed to 248 subjects. The number of domestically registered health food has increased by nearly 40% compared to the statistics of the same period last year.
In terms of approved functions, 341 products were approved for a total of 14 health functions in 2022, with immunity improvement, lipid-lowering, and physical fatigue relief being the most approved functions. Compared with last year, the number of lipid-lowering products increased the most. In terms of applicants, Sirio Pharma ranked first with 8 approved products.
It’s worth special attention that, on July 2022, Xuanshengtang’s Food Production License and Health Food Registration Approval were revoked for failing to organize production according to the registered production process. (Source: shuzhengkangxun)
