On July 11th, Yonghe King, a fast-food brand originated from Taiwan, launched a new product of probiotic soymilk, which is made with non-genetically modified soybeans sourced from Northeast China. To enhance its nutritional value, they add 1 billion active units of IBme Bifidobacterium longum 35624. This probiotic strain from OneHealth, a brand originating from the renowned Danish biotechnology company Novozyme, has been a popular choice in Europe and America for the past decade. Currently, the product is available in over 400 Yonghe King stores nationwide, with a reference price of RMB12 yuan (USD $1.6) per cup. (Source: FoodTalks)
